2 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
1 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
¾ cup butter
¾ cup brown sugar
½ cup molasses
1 egg
Mix flour, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl
Beat butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy
Add molasses and egg, beat well
Beat in flour mix
Refrigerate at least 4 hours
Preheat oven 350°
Roll ¼" thick
Bake for 8-10 minutes
Makes 24 cookies
