Mini Upside Down Pineapple Cakes

1 can (20oz) crushed pineapple
⅓ cup margarine, melted
⅔ cup packed brown sugar
1 package yellow cake mix

Preheat oven to 350°
Drain pineapple, reserving enough juice to replace the water in the cake mix instructions
Stir together the butter and brown sugar
Evenly divide sugar mixture into greased or lined cupcake pans
Arrange pineapple over sugar mixture
Prepare cake mix according to package, replacing water with reserved pineapple juice
Evenly pour batter into cupcake pan
Bake 20-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean
Cool 5 minutes
