1-2 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp salad oil
½ tsp pepper
1 medium onion, diced
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp oregano
Cook these ingredients together over medium high heat until well browned, then drain
Add:
2 cans (18oz) tomato paste
1 can (15oz) tomato sauce
1 can (1lb 12oz) whole tomatoes
1 cup water
Begin to simmer on very low heat
Cook 6-8 hrs or until well blended or very thick
*May also be cooked in a slow cooker, taking lid off at the end to allow to thicken
